Hi, I’m Amy!
As a registered dietitian nutritionist, I have a significant background in nutrition science and education.
So when I tell you that you don’t need to stress about your weight or macros or added sugar or serving sizes as much as you think…that might sound crazy!
But listen…we live in a dieting culture. Everyone feels they should be “watching their weight” and if they make a choice that doesn’t line up with that, they feel guilty. This is completely messing up the way we relate to food. We have lost trust in our body’s beautifully intricate ability to speak to us and take care of us.
It’s not your fault that you haven’t been able to keep the weight off. It’s not your fault that you feel disconnected from your body. It’s not your fault that you have PCOS! The problem is that diet culture has given you the wrong solution!
I believe that the better solution is intuitive eating. Intuitive eating is an evidence-based self-care eating framework that rejects the diet mentality. Realizing that diet culture was destroying my ability to enjoy life pushed me to investigate this different way of approaching food.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2016 after having struggled with the symptoms for years. (Read more about my story here.) But it wasn’t until I adopted intuitive eating that I finally started to see restoration and balance. Two years after starting my intuitive eating journey and one year after discontinuing birth control, I experienced regular cycles for the first time and became pregnant. I believe that if I had continued restricting myself around food that I may not have been able to achieve this.
As I slowly stopped weighing myself and counting calories, I was scared…mostly of gaining weight! But what I started to learn was that our focus on weight as a culture has actually caused more harm than good by way of weight cycling, weight stigma, and disordered eating.
The pursuit of weight loss can wreak havoc on a person’s physical AND mental health!
I began to see that there is a different way of eating besides the extremes of “watching what I ate” and “eating everything and anything.” The journey of eating intuitively taught me to speak compassionately to myself, to give myself space to explore what aspects of food and nutrition were truly important to me, and to RELAX around food so I could finally enjoy it without being stuck in the black hole of counting calories, justifying splurges, and planning compensatory workouts.
Learning about intuitive eating saved my relationship with food and entirely transformed my experience of living with PCOS for the better…and I’ve seen it do the same for my clients.

HOW IT WORKS
12-WEEK PCOS + INTUITIVE EATING PROGRAM

This program was designed specifically for those who have been diagnosed with PCOS and want a holistic approach to managing it that doesn’t involve trying to lose weight.
The program is a blend of virtual group meetings and 1:1 sessions. This format allows us to go over essential information while also including personalized guidance to help you implement changes.
I am limiting the availability to SIX SLOTS in order to keep the group small and valuable to everyone.
Biweekly Virtual Group Meetings
We’ll have seven group calls during our time together. Each meeting will start with a 20-30 minute presentation from me about an aspect of intuitive eating and managing your PCOS (see module topics below!). I’ll end with specific action steps for you to take before our next call. The remaining time is allotted for Q&A and guided discussion. Questions can be asked on the call or submitted in advance. ALL CALLS WILL BE RECORDED, so please do not worry if you cannot join live.
75-minute Virtual 1:1 Initial Consultation
Our first session gives us ample time to discuss your goals, your experience with PCOS, and explore your relationship with food and body image throughout your life. We’ll go over things such as your diet history, current eating behaviors, and any other health issues you are managing. We’ll come up with a personalized action plan just for you. This session will take place during the first few weeks of the program.
Two 45-minute Virtual Follow-up Sessions
We’ll meet individually two more times during the course of the program, once during weeks 5-8, and again during weeks 9-12. We’ll discuss how you are doing with implementing changes and troubleshoot areas you are struggling with.
Written Recommendation Summaries
After each 1:1 session, I will send you notes from our discussion and a list of the action steps we settled on for you to work through between sessions. This may include supplement recommendations as indicated.
